So this post doesn't have anything to do with reading the scriptures, but it can be spiritual and I wanted to write it down before I forgot about it. It is about relationships, and was something I heard today at an activity with my friend Marie. Basically the whole point was, if you are not connected with your body, mind, and heart (spirit) within any relationship that you have then it will not be as meaningful and you will not move forward or be able to progress. You will not feel connected! It is at times when your heart is in it, you are really focused, and you have the desire to be at that point when you feel the best and when you connect the best. For example, when I am physically on my knees praying (body), and I am focused on my prayer and thoughts for my prayer (mind) and when I have a desire to ask for what I need or improve upon, etc (heart) then I will really be connected with the Savior and with my Father in Heaven. My relationship with them will grow and become more intimate! Yeah! So that is what I am going to work on....
Another thing I want to improve is teaching Avery and Megan about personal prayers. I need to show them how....kneel, ask, focus, ...... etc.
